Place Vendôme is a few minutes from the Crillon by car, so the Le Bourget and Beauvais rows give a reliable idea of the fare; for a departure from the hotel itself, enter « Hôtel de Crillon » as your pick-up address and the calculator shows the fixed price for that exact trip.

There is no palace surcharge: the price depends on the journey and the vehicle, not on the hotel. The E-Class takes 2 passengers and 2 suitcases, the V-Class up to 7 passengers and 7 suitcases.

From the airport to Place de la Concorde, step by step

• When you book: give your flight or train number, the number of passengers and suitcases, and the name to write on the sign. Requests such as a baby seat go in the « details » field.
• Before landing: we follow your flight and adjust the pick-up time if it is early or late.
• In arrivals: your chauffeur waits with a name sign, helps with your luggage and walks you to the car. Fifteen minutes of waiting after landing are included.
• On the road: water and phone chargers are on board. From CDG the drive usually takes about 41 minutes; from Orly about 33 minutes.
• At the hotel: the car stops at the entrance on Place de la Concorde and your chauffeur hands your luggage to the hotel staff.

For a departure, your chauffeur waits at the hotel entrance at the time you choose. Allow about 40 minutes of driving to CDG or Orly in average traffic, plus a margin at rush hour, on top of the check-in time your airline asks for.

Pick-up and drop-off at 10 Place de la Concorde

The hotel's main entrance faces Place de la Concorde, at the western end of the long colonnaded façade. The square is a large roundabout: traffic can be slow at rush hour, and cars cannot stop anywhere they like. Your chauffeur knows where to pull in close to the door.

On some days the square is closed or partly closed, for example for the 14 July parade, official ceremonies or large events. On those dates we agree a meeting point nearby, such as rue Boissy-d'Anglas, which runs along the side of the hotel, or rue Royale, and we tell you before the pick-up.

Useful landmarks around the hotel

• Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and its fashion houses: a short walk up rue Boissy-d'Anglas.
• Place de la Madeleine at the top of rue Royale; the Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre to the east.
• The Champs-Élysées and avenue Montaigne to the west, a few minutes by car.
• The Hôtel de la Marine, the twin building on the other side of rue Royale.

Which Mercedes for a stay at the Crillon

• Mercedes E-Class (Business class): 2 passengers and 2 suitcases. The sensible choice for a couple or a business traveller with standard luggage.
• Mercedes S-Class (First class): 2 passengers, more legroom and a quieter cabin. Chosen for arrivals after a long-haul flight and for evenings out.
• Mercedes V-Class (Van): up to 7 passengers and 7 suitcases. For families, long stays with many cases, or shopping days with bags to carry.
• Mercedes-Maybach: on request, subject to availability. Ask when you book and we confirm before your arrival.

If you are not sure that your luggage will fit in an E-Class, choose the V-Class: it costs less than the S-Class on most airport journeys and leaves room for garment bags.

A chauffeur by the hour during your stay

With hourly hire, the car and the chauffeur stay with you. The chauffeur waits while you visit a boutique, attend a meeting or have dinner, and you avoid looking for a taxi on Place de la Concorde in the evening.

About the Hôtel de Crillon

The building was commissioned by Louis XV and designed by the architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel in 1758, as one of the two palaces that frame the north side of Place de la Concorde. It opened as a hotel in 1909.

• Managed by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts; reopened in July 2017 after a four-year restoration.
• 78 rooms and 46 suites, including the Grands Appartements designed by Karl Lagerfeld.
• Restaurants, a bar, a terrace, a gym and a health club; recognised with the official « Palace » distinction in 2018.
• Its façade on Place de la Concorde is a listed historic monument.

Many of our Crillon transfers are booked by someone other than the passenger: an executive assistant, a family member or the hotel concierge. Enter the traveller's name for the sign and their mobile number, so the chauffeur can contact them on arrival.

For a family, ask for a baby seat or a booster in the « details » field of the calculator and give the child's age. For several cars arriving at the same time, book one transfer per vehicle and mention it in the details; we coordinate the chauffeurs.
